Overview

PickIt ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the PickIt mobile application and how we use it. By using the app you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

- Preferences you choose in the app (zip code, default pick count, retailer toggles, dark mode, notification setting). Stored locally on your device.

- Search queries you enter and products you save. Saved products are stored locally on your device.

- Anonymous, aggregated usage and crash diagnostics provided by Apple if you opt in via your device settings.

We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, or precise location.

How We Use Information

- To return relevant product results, rankings, and summaries.

- To remember your preferences and saved items between sessions.

- To improve app performance and quality.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services

To return product results and summaries, PickIt sends your search query (and, when applicable, a product identifier) to:

- Amazon and Google product data providers, to retrieve listings, ratings, and reviews.

- An AI summarization service, which produces the "What reviewers say" summaries from review text.

- RevenueCat, which manages subscription state for PickIt Premium.

These providers process the request to fulfill your search and may apply their own privacy practices. We do not share your identity with them.

Subscriptions

PickIt offers an auto-renewing subscription, "PickIt Premium". Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription state is managed via Apple and RevenueCat; we do not store payment information.

Data Retention

Local data (preferences, search history, saved products) remains on your device until you clear it from the app or uninstall PickIt. You can clear search history from Settings.

Children

PickIt is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your Choices

You can clear your search history, disable notifications, and remove saved products at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.
